Burnout
On the outside, you seem like you have it all together, but on the inside, it is a different story. You have been successful in your career, but you may struggle in your relationships. You’re probably the woman who’s been taking care of everyone else’s needs but not your own. You go to work, manage family responsibilities, and keep showing up for everyone, but you’re starting to feel like you just can’t keep up anymore. You’re always on the go and rarely find time for yourself. Even when you do have a little time, you may feel too tired or overwhelmed to actually enjoy it.
You’re the strong, responsible one. People count on you, and you’re used to getting things done. You may be the person everyone turns to when they need help, advice, or support. But saying no isn’t easy. You may struggle with people-pleasing, putting your own needs last, and feeling guilty when you try to make time for yourself. You may know you need a break, but instead of slowing down, you keep pushing through because something else always needs doing. Over time, this can leave you feeling resentful, disconnected, or frustrated with the people around you. The burnout isn’t getting better, and it is starting to affect every part of your life.
At night, you may have staying asleep, and still wake up, yet you still wake up feeling exhausted. You may become more irritable or have a shorter temper with the people you care about. Little things that normally wouldn’t bother you suddenly feel like too much. You may have a hard time concentrating, making decisions, or finding the energy to do what you need to do. You feel overwhelmed and anxious, like you’re running on empty. Maybe your anxiety has gotten to the point where you feel out of control, and you know you need to talk to someone.
You may even wonder what happened to the version of you who used to feel more patient, motivated, or present. You’re getting through the day, but you don’t feel like you’re really enjoying your life. You may be tired of feeling like you have to hold everything together while no one notices how exhausted you really are. You know something needs to change, but you may not know where to start.
You don’t have to keep pushing through burnout alone. If you’re ready to focus on yourself and make some changes, reach out to schedule a consultation.
